The nice thing about this is you do not have to wait on them to dry. They dry naturally using the air that is already circulating around your apartment. I would call your landlord about the dryer not working well. It is possible that the vent is partially plugged keeping the air flow from functioning like it is suppose to. It is also could be a fire hazard. Clothes dryers is one of the leading causes of home fires. Be safe and get you dryer checked out. It should not take four hours no matter how old and inefficient your dryer is.
